I believe this is at type of Orb Weaver as I have tons of them around my house! And if that’s the case then this luminescent alien can stay (haha) But no I’m all seriousness, I thought to come here to get confirmation if somebody can. I have children and this beauty is right outside my patio door. :)
CLOSED: Friendly?
Friendly. It's a tropical orb weaver, Eriophora ravilla - see https://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/misc/spiders/tropical_orb_weaver.htm
All orb weavers are harmless to humans.

That's most likely an Orb Weaver, and they're actually pretty common in these parts. they are harmless and can chill by your patio door all it wants, haha!
