I have spent way too long trying to figure out how to add a plant that does not exist yet in Plant Files, but I finally figured it out! I am very excited about the Scarlet Fire Kousa Dogwood tree, and I want to introduce others to this beautiful tree!

Look at the top of your home page. It says "Dave's Garden" then it says 'Home'. The 3nd one says 'Guides and Information. Click on that 1.
1st link on top is 'PlantFiles" Click on that.

PlantFiles home page comes up. Look to the right. The top box has different links to pages starting with "Advanced Search" with a total of 10 links to different pages.
Look down to the second rectangular box, which is olive green. It says
'Contribute to Dave's Garden
Add a New Plant to the List'
Click on that and complete the form to add Cornus kousa ‘Scarlet Fire' to the database.
