Are there many species in this group?

Although there are well over 100 species of dung beetles in neighboring Ecuador, this group is less well-studied in Colombia - See http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0120-04882019000200012
I suspect that Colombia should have as many, if not more, species than Ecuador.
