Me and my wife are new home owners and wanting to improve the look of our backyard. On once side of or yard there is about a 10 foot section of grass the between a paved walkway and a fence and it has has a strong down slope few feet in leading up to the wooden fence. The area around the fence is always muddy and nothing seems to grow well there because the the constant run off leading to this area. We also have small children and they often fall because the slope is too steep. We would like to put a rock or mulch bed in this area to level it out with the rest of the section of yard but not sure how to go about it up against a fence. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How to build bed on down slope against a fence?
