I keep finding these stuck on the wall (indoors) in my house. Size is about 7mm. I'm in Melbourne, Australia.

Any ideas?

Possibly a cocoon of some sort. You could try carefully cutting into one with a very sharp knife or razor blade to see if there is anything inside.
