recently moved an old sofa from my basement to my daughters apt. the sofa had
sat isolated in the basement for a few years with nothing else around it except a freezer. now she's getting bitten. i went down to check and yes, there were a bunch of these dead bugs lying around there. i can NOT find any kind of bed bug or mite that looks like this. may i ask if anyone can help identify it? thanks very much :)
A very dead and desiccated spider - unidentifiable, but very unlikely to be the source of any 'mystery' bites.
very much appreciate your reply! there were a bunch of them lying down there,
fairly close together. my daughter has lots of bites some grouped together. she just told me she found some kind of shell, but not empty. i'm going to ask her to post a pic.
It looks like a raisin with legs...LOL
