Trapped Hummingbirds

High, newbie here!!
I have a huge problem with my hummingbirds. Every year many are trapped in my barn . i have a large barn with high open canopy and every year many birds go up in and cannot find their way out, So every year i have to hang feeders up on the ceiling of my barn canopy so this poor little feller can survive. then at night i will go up my ladder with a red head light and capture this helpless little gift from God and release them at first light. but as fate would have it am an ole man and can barely climb my 16 ft ladder three nights ago i fell and my wife has banned me from climbing.
Last night i had removed all these precious little birds from my barn and was thinking how to keep them ou t and i thought about the owl thing so i went gathered and hung three owls at the entrance and see how it works. Pray with me it will help, as this year i lost 5 little birds

Tonight, i was successful in retrieving 5 birds from the barn ceiling all caught on security camera!!

I know a friend who 'gets' to feed 3 gals of nectar a day to the migrating hummers - she is in Hempstead area. She had to put up bird netting to keep them from being lost in her attic and deep porch.
