So about 2 years ago I bought two Jasmines (Jasminum polyanthum and J. grandiflorum). For about a year or so they were perfectly healthy with no fungus whatsoever. Last year both of them got infected with some kind of a fungus. At first I thought it was powdery mildew, but it looks very different from the typical squash/cucumber PM. This fungus is just hundreds of tiny perfectly round white dots. I tried to look at pictures online of PM to try to see if this is what my plants have, but I found no plant with a fungus that looks exactly like this.
What do you think it is? PM or something else? And how do I treat it? Thanks!

Alright, pics uploaded, I think.
Difficult to see but this looks like soft scale not fungus. Treat with neem. If it is soft scale you can initially get rid of a lot by using a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. You will still need to treat the entire plant for total coverage and keep it out of rain for a few days.

I was scared it was fungus. It wipes off easily with a wet cotton swab indeed.
Sadly I pruned the entire the plant in the picture cause I thought it was fungus. I cleaned the remaining stems. Hopefully the plant grows back. I'll definitely try alcohol if the soft scales come back.
My J. grandiflorum looks much healthier now. There aren't much spots on it anymore. Hopefully it stays like that.
