I found this crawling on a cone flower and can't find a match.
It's orange, slimy and somewhat bulbous with one row of dark dots along the side.
Sorry for the not so great photos.
Not letting it out until I know what it is!
CLOSED: Beneficial or Not?
Might be ladybug in its pupa stage.
It's a larva of a leaf beetle (family Chrysomelidae). As the name implies, they all are leaf feeders, and some can be serious pests.
