Our yard backs up to a field. In between our fences and the fields barbwire are volunteer trees. Any suggestions on how to clear this? They are growing out of control and pushing down our poorly constructed fence.
Stop volunteer trees
OUCH! There isn't a lot of wiggle room to get pruners or a saw in that tight location. One fence should be taken down to have some working room to cut the trees to the ground and spray with shrub killer if you can't dig up the roots. What about the other side of the fence? Can you get access to it as it looks to be a lot easier to cut the growth down. You would have to get permission from your neighbor though.
Shrub killer I'll have to look into that. That is a good suggestion.
The other side is farm land that is not lived on. Some how we have about a foot to two foot spacing between fences that these trees are growing in.
