It's a soldier beetle (family Cantharidae), but I cannot take it further than that for now. For images of an assortment of soldier beetles from Ecuador, see https://www.flickr.com/photos/36494393@N00/sets/72157626258312002/
However, I cannot vouch for all of these being cantharids. For example, the last image appears to be a firefly.
