To whom ever wants to help,
We just remodeled our house a few months back. We’ve found two large spiders in the past week, like the photos I’m uploading of the most recent.
My wife is terrified it is a brown recluse. I’m a novice spider identifier, so I can’t rule them out. Any thoughts?
Definitely not a brown recluse; most likely a nursery web spider in the genus Pisaurina, such as Pisaurina mira.
