CLOSED: Spider ID needed

I can’t tell if this is a spider or if it’s an exoskeleton. It was in my friend’s yard and she said it was dead. Any thoughts?

This appears to be the shed exoskeleton of an orthopteran insect in the family Tettigoniidae (katydids and relatives); definitely not a spider.
