This morning I noticed this on a twig, staying there for more than 45 minutes. I don't remember to have seen this before in my yard. Which is this?
Black beetle having round white spots
It's a scarab beetle in the subfamily Cetoniinae; it appears similar to the white spotted fruit chafer (Mausoleopsis amabilis), but I'm pretty sure that yours is a different species.
Ok, Checked some images from your clue and this is enough for me... will say it is a Fruit Chaffer - white spot beetle. Too many are there. Thanks Ed.
