Very often I find this in my garden, but have not been able to identify it so far.
Small butterfly for Identification
It's in the family Lycaenidae (blues, coppers, hairstreaks), possibly in the subfamily Polyommatinae. There are well over 300 species of lycaenids reported from India - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_butterflies_of_India_(Lycaenidae)
Ed, please see if this is Zizula hylax. It appears the closest. I scrolled through the link you gave. Nice that images appear when the cursor touches the hyperlink.
