My first post and I want to thank anyone in advance for their thoughts. I have an appoximate 60 year old weeping fountain beech close to 30 ft tall. Purchased the house last year and noticed the leaning towards the side with full sun exposure . Hasn’t leafed out as it’s still early for them in NY , so my question is there a recommendation on correction? Strapping upper 1/3 ? Pruning full sun side? It’s a spectacular specimen and healthy , and since moving from previous home with 3 large fountains never had to deal with this issue . Any advice is greatly appreciated .
Help with leaning mature purple fountain beech.
