UK - PLEASE HELP -SAVE LIFE OF FLY !

Found a fly buzzing around my room last night, Normally, I would catch them with a glass jar, and let them out into the fresh air, however, it is mid November, so a ~~Rare, visitor,indeed, this time of year.

I do not wish to let him outside,or he will die of the cold ! ( :

Flies eat anything but they have to have liquefied food, so maybe overripe fruit and vegetables. Just leave food out and let it feed. They live a month but there's no telling how old it is now.
