Odd looking bug, can\'t find a match online

Just trying to identify this bug, have tried phone apps and google searches with descriptors, nothing brings up a match so trying here as well.

Image is not clear enough for a confident identification - your camera focused on the background instead of on the subject, a common occurrence with 'point and shoot' cameras. Please try to post a more carefully focused image, and also include your general geographic area (such as 'Northern California').
