All of these plants have been in my yard for 3 to 11 years so nothing is new and nothing has changed about the amount of sun or water they receive.
This started with the hibiscus and sprreading. Nearby Croton’s and dwarf Bougainvillea have the same problem. Now a Ligustrum in my backyard that is at least 100 feet away is showing the same signs. I did use Sevin dust when this first began because the nursery man told me it might be aphids. The problem is worsening and did not improve after treatment with Sevin. The leaves have a black spot where the leaf meets its stem. What do you think it is? Treatment advice would be helpful. Thank you.
