I found this long, skinny ant on the wall behind my kitchen sink this morning. It has a very distinctive pattern on it's abdomen. The ant was about 1/2 inch long. I tried looking online, and described it every way I could think of, but had no luck. The head doesn't seem to be like that of a carpenter ant, and in the pictures I found, carpenter ants didn't seem to have a pattern on them.
