Help! Are these ticks!? I may need professional help. Just found about 50 of these guys sitting on top my bed comforter. i don't know how they got there. they weren't there yesterday. they are about 1.5 mm hard shiny brown/black shell.

These appear to be fully engorged tick larvae (they only have six legs; nymphs and adult ticks have eight). If you have a dog (or dogs), they may be brown dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) - see http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/urban/medical/brown_dog_tick.htm
