We have a wildlfower out in Colorado that's called Snow on the Mountain. It's a wonderful cut flower that I've used in flower arrangements for our church. But 50% of the time when I cut it, it wilts within an hour. I've read that plants with sap need to be sealed with either boiling water or flame for 10 seconds. I've tried this and it doesn't help. Does anyone know the secret of cutting this beautiful flower and not have it wilt?
