I think the adult here is a variety of milkweed beetle. But who is the little fat guy? lovepat
CLOSED: Milk weed visitors
Looks like a larva of a swamp milkweed beetle, Labidomera clivicollis, a leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae - https://uwm.edu/field-station/swamp-milkweed-leaf-beetle/
The other beetle is in the family Cerambycidae (long-horned wood-boring beetles); a Tetraopes sp.
Thank you!
