Help with identifying bug.

Louisville, KY

I found this guy on my milkweed plant this morning and have no idea what kind of bug he is. Does anyone know?

This is a cockroach known as the September cockroach or the pale bordered field cockroach, Pseudomops septentrionalis (Blattodea: Ectobiidae) - it is not a serious pest species. See http://extension.msstate.edu/newsletters/bug%E2%80%99s-eye-view/2016/pale-bordered-field-roach-vol-2-no-17
