CLOSED: Colourful jumping spider, small

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

In our open courtyard this morning, this beauty found my notice. Played with it on the hand trying to take a good macro shot. Difficult. Constantly moving in jerks and several times jumped on the camera lens, only 4 cms away. Which is this?

This another colourful jumping spider I spotted in 2017. Looks different from what I saw today... the other pictures. What is this?

Your second spider is a male Chrysilla volupe; it's possible that your little one could be an immature female of the same species - see https://www.researchgate.net/publication/325540506_First_description_of_the_female_of_Chrysilla_volupe_Karsch_1879_Araneae_Salticidae_Chrysillini_from_India_with_notes_on_the_species%27_distribution_and_life_history/figures

Thanks Flap... I too thought it must be a 'youngster' as it was smaller than the 2017 spider. So its legs are still translucent?
