I haven't seen a "hairy" one before.

It's a scarab in the subfamily Melolonthinae; there are quite a few species than can have a somewhat 'hairy'/setose appearance. For example, look at some Isonychus sp.
Thank you, I took a look and yes there are quite a few in that genus similar to mine.
