My Persimmon tree's branches are dying and it's fruit is dropping heavily. I realized the drip system has many leaks and it has been waterlogged since I turned the drip system on in maybe April. I fixed the drip system now. What do I need to do to save the plant? Help!
Distraught Persimmon tree
Is the branch dieback and fruit drop a sign of root rot? Or will the tree get back since the water logging has been rectified? Should I apply a fungicide? How Is it applied and which one ? I am a beginner, so any advice appreciated.
Thank you for your help!
