CLOSED: Bees grip on front legs, rib hind feet... what?

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

This is a bee in my garden. Not identified. Want to know what name for the action they do - some bees do - taking breaks from its visits to flowers, they sit on a twig gripping with its front legs and rub their hind legs with against each other. I remember some name is there for such an action bees do.

This looks like a cuckoo bee in the genus Thyreus - https://www.flickr.com/photos/ansk/29175359873
The rubbing of its legs together probably is a grooming action. In pollen-carrying bees (such as honey bees), leg rubbing serves to transfer pollen to specialized structures such as pollen baskets. (Cuckoo bees do not carry pollen).

This is an old image, with its markings a bit better. But the white spots are not visible. This is a variety frequently seen.
