Okra pods slow growing

I’ve grown Clemson spineless okra before and I know that you can pick a fully grown pod literally overnight. Now I’m growing French quarter okra hybrid and the pods are growing little okras but have been the same size for like a week now. They get plenty of sun and water and have no pests.

What’s taking so long??
