is it a bed bug or is it something else.....I'm confused. Is it a Beatle or a bed bug

No need to worry - This is a harmless ground beetle (family Carabidae) that accidentally got indoors. The vast majority of beetles in this family are general predators on other small invertebrates.

Thank you !! I then once in a while on my bed and was very shocked. Thought it was a bed bug.

I don't believe that it is anything to worry about - just shoo them outside. If you see anything different, photograph them and submit the images.
