I was able to catch this bug and take close up pics.
CLOSED: Is this a Lygus bug?
Campylomma miyamotoi?
Definitely a mirid; it is in the genus Lygus, but it appears to be a teneral (recently molted) specimen that has yet to assume its 'normal' coloration. One possibility is a western tarnished plant bug, Lygus hesperus - https://soilcropandmore.info/crops/Insects/Insect-Pictures/Lygus/Lygus11.jpg
