Location: Central California. I found this on my loganberry

It's a plant bug in the family Miridae. See https://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/plant_bugs_miridae for some examples. There are more than 2000 species in this family in the USA; most are plant feeders, but some also are predatory.
Solved. It is some type of Lygus bug.
