Please help me identify the first bug.

Also, is the insect in the third picture a very large mosquito?

The first one is a ground beetle in the subfamily Scaritinae and genus Scarites - see https://pbase.com/tmurray74/image/103463798 for an example. These are general predators on other small invertebrates. The second insect is a crane fly (family Tipulidae). These cannot bite and are completely harmless.
