I have several spots on my Red Emerald Philodendron, I don't think they are scales because I know I had them before. I live in south florida zone 10 these are grown outside. the coldest temperature they have ever been in, is the middle 30's. I water everything with well water which has as a lot of sulfur and iron in it. and that's about it for my growing info. Nothing else effects my other philodendrons, pothos and munsters. I appreciate any help and any solutions. Thank you! Randy

Could be bacterial or possibly fungal infection. Have you tried posting on this other forum? https://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/tropicals/all/
