most colorful lamina

We are unable to get grass to grow well under a maple tree. I'm considering lamina. I prefer the variety with silverish leaves and the strongest lavender color for the flowers. I also need to find the most economical plants since I will need many, many starts. I live in NE Indiana, zone 5
