Its eating angel trumpet leaves! I thought those were poisonous
Which insect is this
I have (so far) been unable to identify this caterpillar. Although I believe that it most likely is in the family Lymantriidae, there also are some caterpillars in the family Erebidae that can have a similar appearance. Also, many insects are able to feed on items that would be quite poisonous to vertebrates such as ourselves.
