I took a closeup picture of a ladybug and later noticed that it had two white insects attached to it. Parasites, hitchhikers or something else? Sorry, the second is out of focus, but it shows the side view better.

I cannot be certain, but these look more like the shed 'skins' (exuviae) of aphid nymphs, a favorite prey of many lady beetle species, than a parasite.
