Topiaries
Hi Patty - I think topiary is a work of art in itself. I have seen the masters at work and they sometimes use wire to shape the plants which are usually shrubby. Not every plant can be trimmed so drastically to form a shape. Yew is the best I think and there are many others of course but I am not very knowledgeable about this so can't advise you. Try looking up shrubs for hedges because this type of plant material can be cut back quite hard. Godd luck and wish I could be more help.

OK then - You could maybe practice on privet :-)
Could you make a tomato into a topiary? I am going to try!
Rosemary and ivy make good, easy topiaries. Also jasmine.
