This one was in my stairway. I could not get a great pic, but hope it's enough. It had an interesting pattern on it.
Spider type?
It is one of the so-called 'false widow' spiders in the genus Steatoda; it looks like an introduced European species, Steatoda nobilis, see https://phys.org/news/2019-02-widow-door-globally-invasive-noble.html
That's EXACTLY what it is. Great ID!!!!
