Morning. Wondering if you can tell me what might be boring under a stone patio. Hole is about as big as an index finger. No sign of bees or ants? If filled in I’d opened again overnight.
Location aurora Ohio.

Most likely a wasp or bee - You'll just have to be lucky enough to catch it in action to be certain of identification.
