I found this guy above the stove. Never seen him before. We live in Austin TX
Is he dangerous?

It definitely looks like some sort of jumping spider. Most jumping spiders are a non-threat to humans. They can bite, but nothing highly venomous or dangerous. It looks like a red back jumping spider to me!

It is a jumping spider in the genus Phidippus; definitely not dangerous.
