I planted a few macrophylla ‘endless summer’ outdoors that are doing great, but I’m thinking of trying to keep a small one blooming indoors through the winter. I have a big east facing bay window that gets a good amount of sun, supplimented with hanging LED grow lights... this has worked well to keep my orange and grapefruit trees happy in the wintertime.
Being a species of hydrangea that blooms on new and old wood, do you think I could get it to continue blooming through the winter indoors ? The ones that bloom on new wood don’t need a dormant period to set buds, do they ?
hydrangea indoors over winter ?
