A friend gave me this plant and doesn't know what it is. Neither do I! Id love to know what it is and find a spot for it if its not too invasive.

With Butch saying Perilla, your photo reminds me of a fancy cultivar of shiso used in sushi. They call it Japanese mint though it does not taste like mint. It is very distinctive though I do not know how to describe it. .
