Found this large dragonfly on our dock and it couldn’t fly and seemed to be dying. From the picture it’s eyes seem damaged and there appears to be a fungus or growth on the legs.

The dragonfly is Hagenius brevistylus, known as the dragonhunter. I cannot tell from your image whether the material on the dragonfly's leg is a superficial fungal growth or something else entirely.
