For several years now I have stalked the Vegetable Fern -- at least a mainland U.S. source for one, all to no avail. Online sources say this fern has escaped cultivation and is in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and the southern half of Florida. I am in Mississippi and can of course drive to Baton Rouge or Florida but cannot identify the plant. Online sources rave over this plant's edibility and popularity but cannot give a single place to obtain one. A Thai site (siamgreenculture) offers to sell me one but I'm not sure if it's legal to receive it. If any DG member can point me to a source, I would be grateful. Willing to swap or pay for plant. Any help, advice appreciated. Jim
