I've noticed a few of these this year and I'd like to know what kind of bug they are. They're extremely attracted to my trumpet flower vines and I can only assume that in-between this bug and the black carpenter ants they are causing damage to my Vines flowers. Please help id thank you

Yes, it is a larva of a lady beetle; likely Harmonia axyridis (Asian multi-colored lady beetle).
