Second time I’ve seen this. You can’t tell from the photo but it looks like a round, clear piece of plastic.
CLOSED: What type of insect egg is this?
Not an egg; looks like the start of a nest by a vespid wasp (yellow jackets, hornets, paper wasps, etc.).
