No id at the plant id forum
A friend sent me this pic for id. I am thinking hydrangea. Could someone please help me give this plant a name. She said both plants in the pic are similar.

Is this a hydrangea
Doesn't look like a hydrangea. More like some kind of perennial. When it blooms, it should be easy to ID.
Plants in picture have alternate simple leaves - can't be Hydrangea sp.
Hydrangeas have simple leaves with opposite arrangement.
