CLOSED: Need help to ID this beetle taking over my tomatillo plant

Algoa, TX(Zone 9a)

My tomatillo plants have these little guys all over them. I am positive they're doing more harm than good but any shedding of light on the situation would be appreciated. Apologies that I couldn't get a clearer picture. If this isn't clear enough please let me know and I will try again tomorrow morning.

Thanks in advance!

This is a leaf beetle in the genus Lema, known either as Lema trabeata or Lema confusa ssp. trabeata - see https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/313972-Lema-confusa-trabeata and https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_changes/41166
It is known to feed on plants in the family Solanaceae, which includes tomatillos.
