Very hot and June dry winds blowing all the time. My 2 year old bougainvillea had gotten growth back from winter weather and some blooms and the wind stripped it bare. Now I keep watching it but nothing coming back. I trimmed the ends a bit and hesitating to really cut back in case I kill it. I have lost them to cold wet weather before but not this. Any ideas to spur it into growth? I am keeping it in sun and letting it dry a bit between waterings, not completely dry.
